Melanie Sargent - Partner

Having relocated to live in Waikanae, Melanie has re-joined the firm in partnership after 8 successful years as a partner in an established Wellington firm. Prior to that she had practised for 30 years at the firm since graduating from Victoria University in 1981.
Over almost 40 years in practice Melanie has grown an extensive commercial and private client base and she continues to service both her private and her commercial and corporate clients in her fields of interest.
They include:
- all residential property matters including subdivisions;
- family trusts and succession planning;
- wills and estate planning and administration;
- powers of attorney;
- elder law including Rest Home Licence acquisitions;
- company and business structuring , acquisitions, sales and mergers; and
- commercial development and leasing.
